The TWW has been celebrating it's 3rd anniversary! We want to extend our sincere gratitude to all those who have supported this podcast and we look forward to continuing our mission of providing information that impact our community. We have done more than 140 episodes and we will keep trying to make a difference.
In the spirit of looking back, we have been releasing past episodes since early April. This Sunday's' release was first broadcast on May 17, 2019.
The topic remains front and center today. Did you know that only 2% of our public-school teachers are Black males?
Since the implementation of the integration of our schools, over 50 years ago, there has been a downward trend in the Black family unit, violence, and especially the preparation of our children to compete domestically and globally. This issue has also led to kids being sent to special education and eventually the Criminal Justice System. How do we go about changing this dynamic? Where are our role models? Do we need to roll the clock back?
Happy 3rd Anniversary to The Walt Weekly. An amazing 3 years of greatness
